In the book of Jude, verse 23 tells us to "snatch others out of the fire and save them............." That is the purpose of the Fire Escape Cafe. The Fire Escape Cafe is located at the center of the known universe; or more specifically at 2731 Peck Street at the corner of Center Street in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. The Fire Escape Cafe is an outreach arm of Hope Lighthouse Ministries. COMING: • coffee house: A nightly Christian oriented café with live and recorded music & other activities like dramas and Christian movies. We encourage Christian bands, musicians, youth groups, praise teams, etc. to use the cafe to showcase their music and do ministry. Give us a call for a booking. OPERATING NOW: • FRIDAY NITE LIVE CoFFEE HOUSE : Since 1996, "Friday Nite Live" at the Fire Escape Cafe has offered live Christian Music and fellowship centered around a short, but meaty, devotional from God's Word at 7:00 pm each 3rd Friday of the month.

THERE IS A PLACE HERE FOR YOU! GET INVOLVED IN TAKING OUR COMMUNITY FOR CHRIST. COME AND BE BLESSED. OTHER MINISTRIES AT THE CAFE': • Food & Clothes pantries: Many of us need help from time to time. Please call if we can help you get through a tough time. Our food & clothes Pantries are open every Tuesday & Thursday from 10:00 am til 2:00 pm. All are welcome. We currently serve over 500 families each month. • soul patrols: Teams that go out from the Cafe and witness the gospel on the streets of Muskegon Heights have been going out since 1996 and are open to all. If you are an individual, a youth group or an evangelism class looking for hands on, inner city street witnessing with experienced brothers and sisters come and join us. Call or E-Mail for details and current information. • walk-in center: For those who need various kinds of help, want to get a hot cup of coffee, or just want to get out of the cold, etc. We are a small street level inner city mission church and outreach. Our immediate area, Muskegon Heights, has a population of 12 to 14,000 people and Muskegon itself has about 40,000. Since 1996 our ministry has witnessed thousands of salvations & rededications, fed and clothed countless thousands of families, ministered to countless children in our surrounding neighborhoods and county, hosted visiting youth and street witnessing groups and have brought over 30 area churches together for prayer walking. God is doing great things in the “Heights.” If you would like to help us with an offering to continue God's important work in this area ... or if you see an area of ministry here that you would like to participate in, or would like to visit, please give us a call.
